Two teams from the Department of Pedagogy and Primary Education and the Department of Early Childhood Education of the University of Patras participated in this project. As part of the initial protocol for the creation of the network, a postgraduate programme on higher education policies was already planned.<\/li>\n<li>The year <b>2011<\/b> was a turning point as the<b> Network was transformed into an Inter-University Network<\/b> with the participation of the Universities of the Aegean and Peloponnese by signing a special protocol of cooperation between the three institutions.<\/li>\n<li>In early <b>2014<\/b>, an initiative group was formed to implement a relevant provision of the Protocol for the creation of a <b>Master&#8217;s Degree in &#8220;Higher Education Policy: theory and practice&#8221;<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>The initiative group consisted of:\n<ul>\n<li>Department of Education Sciences and Social Work (formerly DPPE)\n<ul>\n<li><b>George Stamelos<\/b>, Professor (Educational Policy)<\/li>\n<li><b>Yannis Kamarianos<\/b>, Professor (Sociology of Education)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The faculty members of the ECEDU of the University of Patras also participate as collaborating members:\n<ul>\n<li><b>Pantelis Kyprianos<\/b>, Professor (History of Education)<\/li>\n<li><b>Stathis Balias<\/b>, Professor (Theories of Democracy and Rights in Education).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Department of Primary Education, University of the Aegean.\n<ul>\n<li><b>Panagiotis Kimourtzis<\/b>, Professor (Educational Policy and History of Education)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Department of Social and Educational Policy, University of Peloponnese\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><b>Yuli Papadiamantaki<\/b>, Professor (Educational Policy)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><b>Dionysis Kladis<\/b>, Professor Emeritus (Higher Education Policy).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The work of the initiative group led to the establishment of the present postgraduate programme.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);
